Austin, TX-based artist management company Beekeeper Corp. is proud to announce the addition of Swedish recording duo jj to its roster. Hailing from the small village of Vallentuna, Sweden, Elin Kastlander & Joakim Benon a.k.a. jj, create ethereal pop music while incorporating elements of synth, R&B and hip hop.

In 2010, jj received “Best New Music” accolades from Pitchfork.com for their Nº 1 & Nº 2 releases, and partnered with R&B star Ne-Yo for the Adult Swim Singles Program track “We Can’t Stop.” jj toured extensively in support of Nº 2 & Nº 3 including a performance at the Way Out West Festival in Göteborg and supporting dates for The XX on their entire North American tour.
jj are signed to Sincerely Yours in Scandinavia, and Secretly Canadian releases the band’s works worldwide. The band’s latest 7″ single, Nº 4, “Beautiful Life,” was released worldwide on May 8th.
